Clearly explaining the probate process
in Alaska
Supervised Administration
An interested person or a Personal Representative who desires court supervision of the estate's administration may petition for a supervised administration under Alaska Statutes 13.16.215-235. During the course of a supervised administration, the Personal Representative may not exercise the power to make any distribution of the estate without an order of the court. The court may also restrict other powers of the Personal Representative as it deems appropriate.
